Making houses homes since 1989... Almost three decades ago when UAE was taking its first steps towards becoming an economic powerhouse, fuelled by ambition, oil and global enterprise, Bilal Mukri (known affectionately as Billy to his friends and acquaintances) was also embarking on a personal odyssey that would place Pinky Furniture on the top of every homeowner’s wish list. Except that in 1981, the year when the business was nothing more than a small shop located in the heart of the Sharjah Heritage and Cultural Souq, it was called Imtiaz Handicrafts and Gifts. صناعة المنازل منذ عام 1989... قبل ثلاثة عقود تقريبًا، عندما كانت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة تتخذ خطواتها الأولى نحو التحول إلى قوة اقتصادية، مدعومة بالطموح والنفط والمشاريع العالمية، كان بلال مكري (المعروف باسم بيلي بين أصدقائه ومعارفه) يشرع أيضًا في رحلة شخصية من شأنها أن تضع أثاث بينكي على رأس قائمة أمنيات كل صاحب منزل. باستثناء أنه في عام 1981، العام الذي لم يكن فيه العمل أكثر من مجرد متجر صغير يقع في قلب سوق الشارقة للتراث والثقافة، كان يُطلق عليه اسم إمتياز للحرف اليدوية والهدايا.
