كان السيد عبدالله دخيل الشايع (رحمه الله) من الرواد في مجال العطور، حيث افتتح متجره الأول في سوق المباركية في الكويت سنة 1928م و يحمل اسمه وقد كان سوق المباركية في ذلك الوقت من الأماكن المرموقة في المدينة. كان يستورد –رحمه الله- أفخر أنواع العطور مثل دهن العود ، دهن الورد والعنبر والمسك والصندل وأجود أنواع العود الهندي المعروف بجودته العالية . Mr. Abdullah Dakheel Al-Shaya (may Allah have mercy on him) was a pioneer in the field of perfumes. He opened his first store in Mubarakiya Market in Kuwait in 1928, which bears his name. At that time, Mubarakiya Market was one of the most prestigious places in the city. He imported - may Allah have mercy on him - the finest types of perfumes such as oud oil, rose oil, amber, musk, sandalwood, and the finest types of Indian oud known for its high quality.
